Have you had the run around by the medical profession?
Told it's all in your head?
Do you lack support from those in your environment?
Told you will never get better?
Feeling hopeless?
Are you grieving the loss of who you used to be?

2015 at Case Western Reserve University
I was a single mom, newly divorced, newly relocated and had recently completed a masters degree in clinical adult mental health. I was finally working in my field and providing for my kids when I acquired a traumatic brain injury in 2017.
I wish I could tell you some terrifying and exciting story of how I was in a horrible car accident, thrown from my car and was in a coma for a month in the hospital. Alas, no, I acquired my tbi by dropping a 55” inch plasma tv on my head. In case you are wondering, it’s not ideal and I would not try it at home!!
Traumatic Brain Injury Coach
I went from being a high functioning, independent single parent to losing everything. I mean EVERYTHING! I lost the house, the job, the kids, the car, the ability to read and write, no driving, no public places and barely able to walk down the hallway without bouncing off the walls due to extreme vertigo and dizziness.
I was in a constant state of intense head pain 24/7, nausea, severe brain fog with monstrous issues in cognitive processing. The phonophobia, photophobia, hyperacusis and aphasia were off the charts.

To top it all off, if I had to process too much information in my environment I would have a non-epileptic seizure that usually lasted a minimum of 5-8 minutes.

Living daily in dark glasses & noise cancelling headphones
Where’s the first place you go when you injure your brain? Made sense to me at the time to go to a "brain doctor", aka a neurologist. I have been to three neurologists, one sports medicine clinic, a migraine and concussion clinic for 2 weeks in Chicago, and a premier brain injury and concussion clinic in Phoenix, Arizona.
Unfortunately, you don’t know what you don’t know in this brain injury game. You don’t know what’s wrong with you and you certainly don’t know what helps make it better. Allopathic medicine was very little help. Trying to figure out how to navigate a traumatic brain injury when it's your brain that is damaged/broken is damned hard. Kinda like a one legged man in a kicking competition. Good luck little buddy!
The body's natural state is wholeness. Your body wants to heal itself and it can given the right information, treatment modalities, supplements and diet. After a lot of research and trial and error I found many modalities and protocols that continue to improve brain functioning.
Let's find your way back to a fulfilling life!

Combining 10 years clinical adult mental health work (psychotherapy) with 25 years energy, body work and intuitive healing and my own experience with a traumatic brain injury I can help provide:

Nonjudgmental mental and emotional support
Coping strategies for daily living
Techniques to manage thoughts and feelings
Learning to calm that inner critic and finding compassion for yourself
Guidance toward self acceptance and peace for the new you
Support in the art of forgiving self and others
Brain injury treatment modality resources, information & referrals
Recommendations for nutrition and eating right for optimal brain health
A supportive ear that gets it and a shoulder to scream, rage, vent, process, cry, heal and lean on!
Let’s work together to help you grieve the loss of your old self. Accept the reality of your new self. Feel more hopeful and more positive. Find a sense of dignity and inner peace. Improve your brain functioning and day to day quality of life.
“Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can, should, or need to do it alone.”
